Saint Padre Pio

Saint Padre Pio: Saint Padre Pio was an Italian priest and mystic who lived in the 20th century. He was known for his devotion to charity, his stigmata, and his visions of Jesus and Mary. He founded a hospital near his convent in San Giovanni Rotondo, where he spent most of his life. He was canonized in 2002 by Pope John Paul II. He is the patron saint of civil defense volunteers, adolescents, stress relief, and many other causes. His feast day is September 23.
